Video Encoding
Video tapes frequently need to be encoded so that they can be distributed on the internet or by CD ROM, or edited using software on a PC or Mac. We provide the following video encoding services.
High quality digital encoding of picture and sound in MPEG1, MPEG2, MP4, H264, WMV, AVI and Quicktime formats for internet and other applications including YouTube.
DVD encoding with or without menus and other features, and MPEG encoding. DVD menu design to include your logo or artwork.
CD ROM mastering of video for playback on a computer.
Interactive Flash presentations with or without video integration, for distribution by email, web or disk. See an example of flash animation.
You may have tapes which require editing or archiving on a hard drive; we can convert all tapes (VHS, DVCam, Beta SP, Digi-Beta etc) to file formats which are compatible with most editing software programs, and to other tape formats. See our rate card for video encoding prices.
It is a common request for a video to be made available on a website, or to be sent by email. This is fine for a short video, but a longer programme will require a large file which cannot be sent by email. Our Filebox solution enables a large file to be easily sent over the internet, using just a standard web browser.
